Hello, my name is Ubiratan Silva, and I am a senior product and service designer and design manager with a strong background in UX and UI design. I bring over 25 years of experience in digital interface design, user experience and user interface for products and services, as well as leadership in managing design teams and projects. I am Brazilian, fluent in Portuguese and English at an advanced level (C1), and have intermediate knowledge of Spanish.

I also work as a professor and researcher in undergraduate and postgraduate design programs. My academic background includes a bachelor's degree in Social Communication with a focus on Advertising from UFRGS, a Master of Science in Design from UNISINOS, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Design at UFRGS. My doctoral research explores the application of Artificial Intelligence in design processes.

I work across the entire design process, combining various methods and techniques for product discovery and digital product management. My work begins with problem identification, strategy, and vision, followed by UX research, data analysis, journey and flow mapping, prototyping, usability testing, creation of design systems, and developer handoff. I consistently apply agile frameworks such as Scrum, Lean UX, and Dual Track Agile, and I lead both design teams and strategic processes.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with startups, industrial companies, fintechs, payment gateways, digital banks, B2C and B2B marketplaces, health tech companies, and large corporations. I maintain a strong presence on LinkedIn, where I share content on Design, Innovation, and Artificial Intelligence with over 45,000 followers. I also support the design community by offering courses, workshops, lectures, and mentorship.

I use methodologies such as Design Thinking and Lean UX, along with agile frameworks, to ensure that every project remains user-centered and is delivered efficiently. Tools like Figma, Miro, and AI-based platforms are essential to my creative and collaborative workflows.
