Objective:
The goal of the UX project for Kimberly-Clark’s marketplace was to enhance the digital experience by making navigation more intuitive and efficient for users.
During the discovery phase, we identified usability challenges that hindered the consumer journey and impacted the purchasing experience. Our objective was to address these issues and create a smoother, more accessible flow aligned with both the audience’s needs and the business goals.

Work process
Our challenge was to enhance the digital experience of Kimberly-Clark’s marketplace, ensuring an efficient and user-centered journey.
We began with the discovery phase, conducting research to identify the main challenges and user needs. Based on these insights, we defined the problems to be addressed and explored possible solutions.
With a clear definition, we moved into the development phase, where we iterated prototypes and tested the usability of the solutions. After validations, we proceeded to the delivery stage, ensuring that the implemented solution effectively resolved the identified issues.

Integration process
Finally, we integrated the design with development using the Dual Track Agile method, fostering continuous collaboration between Product Discovery and Delivery. This approach ensured an optimized experience aligned with the expectations of Kimberly-Clark marketplace users.

Benchmarking
Benchmarking is the process of studying the market in which your digital product operates, focusing on visual and structural aspects. It is essential to align the product with the market, ensuring it is naturally accepted by users.

Deliverables
The project deliverables ranged from the initial research phase to the creation of a documented, navigable prototype.
We developed detailed personas to represent the main user profiles, enabling more informed design decisions. A benchmarking study was conducted to identify best practices and improvement opportunities by analyzing competitors and market references.
Additionally, we performed a heuristic analysis to evaluate the marketplace’s usability and identify areas for optimization.
Based on these insights, we created prototypes for both desktop and mobile, ensuring a consistent and intuitive experience across devices. To complement the process, we developed a style guide to guarantee visual consistency and facilitate interface implementation by the development team.

Results
With the redesign of Kimberly-Clark’s marketplace, we successfully addressed the challenges identified during the discovery phase, making the digital experience more intuitive and efficient.
Navigation was improved, ensuring a smoother and more accessible purchasing flow aligned with user needs. Additionally, the implementation of a more structured and standardized design enhanced usability and product interaction.
The integration between design and development, through the Dual Track Agile method, ensured a delivery aligned with both audience expectations and business goals. As a result, the marketplace now offers a clearer, more organized, and efficient journey for its consumers.
